We are a well cultured and traditional Punjabi household with immense love for our culture and food. Our family are from Punjab, a state in Northern India, and growing up we have been fortunate to have visited the Golden Temple, Taj Mahal and hiked up the Indian Himalayas. Yet, our hearts have always belonged in the streets of Punjab. Our culture is well known for its flavoursome street food and Punjab is for sure the place to be. The mouth-watering aromas, the sounds of the cars beeping, and cows mooing is what makes Punjab authentic.

Growing up in the UK, we have greatly missed the street food and the sense of being a part of the atmosphere in Punjab, and this is where Mac's love for cooking has been a huge gain for us. The love for cooking has inspired us to replicate many traditional Punjabi dishes at home; Chilli Paneer, Spring Rolls, Samosa's and Aloo Tikki to name a few.

 

We decided to share our Punjabi Street Food passion with you all, and this when Mac’s Masala was born. We welcome you on our journey and hope you love it as much as we do!
