We come from a proud Punjabi household where food has always been at the heart of our culture. Our roots trace back to Punjab in Northern India, a place bursting with colour, warmth, and of course, unforgettable street food. From visiting the Golden Temple and Taj Mahal to trekking the Himalayas, we’ve explored India’s beauty — but our hearts always return to the buzzing streets of Punjab. The sizzling aromas, the chatter of people, the honking cars, even the cows wandering by — that atmosphere is what makes Punjab truly special.
Sri Harmandir Sahib Ji - The Golden Temple
Growing up in the UK, we missed that magic — especially the food. That’s where Mac’s passion for cooking became our biggest gift. Inspired by traditional recipes, we recreated beloved Punjabi dishes at home: Chilli Paneer, Spring Rolls, Samosas, Aloo Tikki — and even gave Punjabi twists to everyday favourites like pasta, burrito bowls, cheese on toast, and even a hearty Indian-style roast dinner.
What started in our family kitchen soon grew into something bigger. We wanted to share that love for Punjabi street food with the world — and so Mac’s Masala was born.
